The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorgolik dives in for a single leg takedown but Fulton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fulton is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Gorgolik drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fulton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fulton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fulton!

Fulton goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gorgolik turns into him and now he's in Fulton's guard.
Gorgolik is fighting to break Fulton's control of his arms but Fulton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
