Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chevy Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenneth Boyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chevy Woods! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Boyer was covering up waiting for the punch and Woods finishes the takedown easily into guard. Boyer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boyer wants to stand but Woods is controlling the position. Boyer looking to control.
Woods seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Boyer keeping moving, preventing Woods from controlling successfully. Boyer wants to stand but Woods is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chevy Woods was stalling too much, according to the referee. Boyer moves out of range as Woods strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woods darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Boyer pushes Woods off looking to stand but Woods dives back in and keeps control.
Woods missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Woods is working for a kimura but Boyer is defending it quite comfortably.

Woods performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Boyer pushes Woods off looking to stand but Woods dives back in and keeps control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods wants to control the pace but Boyer is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Woods is standing up, even though he is in mount. Woods gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Boyer manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Boyer has Woods pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woods is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Boyer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Boyer has escaped and now he's on top! Boyer postures up and lands a big shot to Woods's brow. Woods wants to control the position but Boyer says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Boyer wants to stand up but Woods is controlling the position.
This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Woods trying to control from the bottom.
Woods works his way to full guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chevy Woods dominated that round. That's time! Boyer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Woods connects with a leg kick. Boyer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Woods dives in and scores a takedown into Boyer's guard. Woods is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Boyer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Boyer has escaped and now he's on top! Boyer throws a strike but Woods rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woods seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Woods drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Boyer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Woods has Boyer in his guard. Boyer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Woods's guard. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Woods. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woods is trying to keep Boyer in close.
Woods looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Boyer postures up.
Boyer throws an elbow that misses. Woods uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boyer's guard. Nice move by Woods! Woods with a flurry of punches that miss. Woods trying to control the position from guard on top but Boyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boyer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Woods is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyer is working an open guard so Woods takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Woods lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Kenneth Boyer has been cut. Woods swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Woods is looking to clinch. Woods scores with a takedown into Boyer's guard. Woods should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Woods trying to control but Boyer is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Woods throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Woods looking to pass the guard. Boyer pushes Woods off and gets back to his feet.
Boyer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Chevy Woods showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kenneth Boyer's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Woods fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boyer manages to avoid it. A head kick by Woods misses and Boyer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Woods's guard now. Boyer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Boyer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Woods looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Boyer stands up over Woods, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Woods wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Boyer is now in half guard. Woods trying to hold on to Boyer's head to control him but Boyer postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyer tries to stand but can't do so whilst Woods controls his leg. Woods slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Woods working a defensive guard here.

Woods bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boyer's guard. Boyer is working an open guard so Woods takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A head kick misses from Boyer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyer keeps the fight on the outside. Woods is looking to clinch but Boyer is avoiding it.
Woods closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Woods prevents Boyer from standing back up.
Woods stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Boyer to get to his feet. Woods feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Woods slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woods wants to control from the top but Boyer keeps moving. Boyer wants to stand and escape but Woods is having none of it. Woods controlling from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kenneth Boyer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chevy Woods is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Woods moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Chevy Woods comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Woods has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
