Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luis Lastarria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Resnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor Resnov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luis Lastarria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Victor Resnov!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lastarria shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lastarria shoots in looking for a takedown. Resnov tries to sprawl out of it but Lastarria keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Resnov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lastarria swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lastarria looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Resnov tries to clinch there but Lastarria circles away.
Resnov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Resnov connects with the punch.
Resnov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lastarria's guard.
Lastarria is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Resnov defends well.
Resnov is looking to work some ground and pound but Lastarria has wrist control.
Resnov stands and steps away. Lastarria gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Resnov shoots for a double leg takedown but Lastarria sprawls well. He's pushed Resnov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lastarria scores with a punch to the head.
Lastarria wants to clinch up but Resnov keeps it at a distance.
Resnov darts in looking for a takedown but Lastarria gets double underhooks and turns Resnov into the cage.
Lastarria is looking to control Resnov's arms but Resnov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lastarria has his back to the cage.
Resnov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Lastarria pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Resnov lands a left and a right that send Lastarria crashing to the mat, dazed. Resnov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lastarria is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lastarria lands a nice hook to Resnov's body. Resnov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oh Lastarria is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Resnov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lastarria swivels and escapes.
Luis Lastarria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Resnov.
Resnov cracks Lastarria with a big right hand and Lastarria goes down!
Resnov postures up in Lastarria's guard and throws a big left but Lastarria blocks it.
Resnov lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Resnov stops Lastarria from standing up.
Lastarria is breathing heavily.
Lastarria looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Resnov postures up and lands a big shot to Lastarria's brow.
Resnov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Resnov lands a couple of elbows.
Lastarria lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Resnov!
Lastarria is looking to stand but Lastarria has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Lastarria avoids the attempt from Resnov to control.
Lastarria seems to have got his legs back now.
Resnov really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Resnov gets back to half guard.
Resnov is looking to control Lastarria's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Resnov avoid being mounted?
Resnov is trying to stand back up but Lastarria is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Resnov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lastarria wants to stand up but Resnov has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Resnov is trying to get back to full guard.

Resnov wants to get back to his feet.
Lastarria is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Resnov wants to get back to his feet.
Lastarria tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Resnov.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Resnov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Resnov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Resnov dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lastarria tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Resnov defends well and Lastarria ends up having to push Resnov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lastarria manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Resnov.
Resnov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lastarria.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lastarria looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lastarria throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Resnov moves into the clinch successfully.
Resnov pulls guard effortlessly.
Victor Resnov has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lastarria wants to stand but Resnov is controlling his posture from full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lastarria decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Resnov, up you get!
Resnov lands with a right hand.
Resnov circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lastarria drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Resnov follows Lastarria to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
