The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heju takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Harmo Heju has been cut.
Heju throws out a loose jab but Yamato uses good head movement to avoid it.
Heju throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Yamato counters with a head kick. That will keep Heju thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Yamato moves out of range as Heju strikes.
Donk. Yamato catches Heju right on the button with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yamato slips a straight right by Heju.
Heju misses with a hook. Yamato ducked under it nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Yamato lands with a kick to the temple. Heju shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Yamato ducks under a wild hook from Heju.
Heju throws a hook but Yamato blocks it.
Yamato ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Heju swings for the body but Yamato moves out of range.
Heju misses with a looping right.
Heju misses with a hook. Yamato ducked under it nicely.
Yamato lands with a kick to the ribs.
Yamato moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Heju looks winded!
Yamato scores with a jab to the body.
Yamato lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Heju at a distance.
Heju takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Yamato lands the left hand.
That has opened up Harmo Heju's cut even more.
Heju ducks into a a hook from Yamato and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
Heju is rocked!
Nice body kick from Yamato.
Yamato thuds his shin into the meat of Heju's side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yamato cracks Heju with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Heju is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Heju is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Heju could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Akihiko Yamato!
