Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Resnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Victor Resnov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Hunt! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Resnov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Resnov. Hunt has a takedown stuffed. Hunt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch but Resnov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Resnov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Resnov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hunt.
Hunt tries to clinch but Resnov is having none of it. Hunt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Resnov. Resnov slips a jab and a cross from Hunt.
Hunt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hunt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Resnov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Nice strikes from Hunt there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Resnov wants to get back to full guard. Hunt is trying to control. Resnov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hunt not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hunt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Resnov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hunt. Hunt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Resnov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hunt is trying to work for a kimura but Resnov is defending well.
Hunt seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Resnov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunt is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Resnov is looking for a sweep. Hunt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hunt is just content to waste time from the top position. Resnov takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Hunt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hunt missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hunt throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hunt wants to control from the top but Resnov keeps moving. Resnov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hunt works over Resnov with some ground and pound from guard. Resnov throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Hunt throws a strike but Resnov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Resnov tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunt is retaining full guard. Hunt uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hunt moves out of range of the body kick. Hunt throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hunt wants to clinch up but Resnov keeps it at a distance. Hunt has closed the distance and engaged Resnov in a clinch.
Hunt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hunt is defended easily by Resnov. Hunt circles away from the clinch attempt and Hunt counters with a nice leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Resnov.
Hunt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Resnov pinned against the cage. Resnov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Victor Resnov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hunt. Hunt has Resnov up against the cage in a clinch.
Hunt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Resnov lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Mike Hunt has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunt lands a right hook to the body.
Resnov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hunt clinches with his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hunt dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Hunt's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jab, jab by Hunt - just one landing. Hunt dodges the punch combination from Resnov.
Resnov lands with an overhand left.
Hunt is rocked! Resnov tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Resnov. Resnov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunt as he jumps to the side. Hunt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hunt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Victor Resnov is winning the standup battle so far. Resnov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hunt counters with a two punch combo. Hunt misses with the combination.
Resnov darts in looking for a takedown but Hunt gets double underhooks and turns Resnov into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Resnov throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Hunt stumbling backwards into the cage! Hunt bounces back off the cage towards Resnov, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Resnov lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Resnov celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Victor Resnov! A very excited looking Victor Resnov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
