The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckham moves to clinch but Bartlett breaks away
and Bartlett counters with a two punch combo.
Beckham swings for the body but Bartlett moves out of range.
Beckham looks for a takedown but Bartlett sprawls well.
Beckham pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Beckham fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bartlett checks it well.
Beckham circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bartlett slips a straight right by Beckham.
Beckham clinches up with Bartlett and pushes him back against the cage.
Beckham goes for a takedown attempt but Bartlett pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Beckham misses with the combination.

Beckham shoots in for a double leg but Bartlett sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Neville Bartlett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Beckham.
Bartlett is looking to clinch.
Beckham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bartlett paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bartlett doesn't manage to clinch there - Beckham circles away.
Bartlett drives through and clinches with Beckham against the cage.
Bartlett tries a body shot but Beckham blocks it.
Bartlett tries to pull guard but Beckham forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Bartlett throws an elbow that misses. Beckham uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bartlett's guard. Nice move by Beckham!

Bartlett is trying to keep Beckham in close.
Bartlett isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Beckham stacks Bartlett on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Beckham!
You can see the frustration on Bartlett's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Beckham wants to control but Bartlett is keeping him busy.

Beckham is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Beckham extends the arm and Bartlett is forced to tap!
