Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rhys Parry!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campos wants to clinch up but Parry keeps it at a distance.
Parry lands with an uppercut that bounces Campos off the cage and back into range.
An inside leg kick from Parry misses.
Campos fails in his attempt to clinch.
Parry with a jab.
Parry with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Parry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Campos circles away quickly and effectively.
Parry misses with a double jab.
Parry looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Some bone on bone action there as Campos checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Campos gets tackled into the cage by Parry. Parry maintains the clinch.
Parry stalls.
The referee is keeping an eye on Campos - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Campos is trying to pull guard but Parry has him pressed against the cage.

Campos tries a body shot but Parry blocks it.
Parry lands a nice shot to the body.

Campos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parry walks away with a smile on his face. Campos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Parry throws a leg kick but Campos sees it coming and moves out of range.
Parry thows a body shot but no joy.
Parry scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
No joy there for Parry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Parry lands a jab to the head.
Parry lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Campos at a distance.
Rhys Parry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parry has Campos up against the cage in a clinch.

Campos stalling in the clinch but Parry improves position.
Parry missing with knees to the body.
Parry has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Campos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Parry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Parry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Parry's corner calls for a 1-2. Parry obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Campos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parry defends it nicely.

Parry lands with a straight right. Campos didn't see that one coming.

Parry throws a combination. Campos tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Campos takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rhys Parry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Campos is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Parry is defending well for now.
Campos is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Parry to keep the fight standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Parry catches Campos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Parry fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Campos on the side of the head.
Parry tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Campos is able to avoid easily.

Parry attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Parry!


Campos is rocked!
Parry scores with a nice head shot.
Oh Campos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parry thuds a left hand into Campos's body.
Parry cracks Campos with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Campos falls to his knees and Parry doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rhys Parry!
