Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Thorkildsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorkildsen has chosen AC/DC - Hell's Bells as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rolf Thorkildsen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Robert Black's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorkildsen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thorkildsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Thorkildsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thorkildsen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Thorkildsen is looking to advance position but Black won't allow it.

Black is trying to maintain the position but Thorkildsen is very close to passing his half guard.
Thorkildsen thows a huge punch but Black dodges it nicely.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thorkildsen connects with a nice short shot to Black's temple.

Black is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Zero Tolerance, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Black has his foot on Thorkildsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thorkildsen works his way back into a safe position though.

Black looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Thorkildsen has picked Black up and slammed him! Black can't keep hold of the triangle and Thorkildsen manages to pass to side control!

Thorkildsen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Thorkildsen lands a strong strike to the head of Black. That's dazed him! Thorkildsen looking to finish here. Black is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Thorkildsen lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rolf Thorkildsen!
After the fight, Rolf Thorkildsen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
