Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moses Stepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, head crusher. Moses Stepp has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cain Cruz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cain Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moses Stepp! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz goes for a double leg but Stepp avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stepp continues to drive forward. Stepp lands with a right to the head. A head punch on the inside from Stepp fails to land. Stepp tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Stepp scores with an uppercut up the middle. Stepp swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stepp pushes Cruz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stepp. Cruz tries to pull guard but Stepp forces him back to his feet, against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stepp. Stepp is pushing Cruz up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Stepp lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Stepp working aggressively here.
Cruz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stepp pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cain Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stepp swings wildly with an uppercut but Cruz uses good head movement to avoid it. Stepp lands a left hand.
Cruz manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruz gets a takedown into half guard. Stepp is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stepp is defending against the submission attempts here by Cruz.
Stepp looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stepp pushes Cruz off but Cruz dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stepp is not content to let Cruz control the position. Cruz working the body and head with strikes. Cruz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stepp keeps working. Cruz lands a few punches from side control. Cruz lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Cruz tries for a kimura but Stepp is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cruz working the ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stepp is trying to buck Cruz off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cruz throwing strikes but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Cain Cruz will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stepp has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stepp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Stepp swings wildly with an uppercut but Cruz uses good head movement to avoid it. Cruz blocks a body shot from Stepp. Stepp lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A head punch on the inside from Stepp fails to land. Cruz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stepp smiles and moves away.
Cruz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cruz looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cruz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Stepp is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruz trying to control but Stepp is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cain Cruz wasn't doing enough on the ground. Stepp closes the distance looking to clinch and Cruz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Moses Stepp has been cut. Stepp wants to clinch but Cruz slips to the side and Cruz counters with a flying knee. Nice. Stepp moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stepp misses with a short punch on the inside. Stepp is trying to stall.
Cruz blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Stepp. Stepp lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cruz backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stepp. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cruz blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Stepp misses with a punch on the inside.
Stepp softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Cruz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A short right from Stepp. Stepp throws a head punch that misses. Stepp creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Cruz's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Cruz drops to his knees and Stepp pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moses Stepp!
