Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wiley Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wiley Montoya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Master! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montoya tries to keep at a distance but Master has taken the fight into the clinch. Master breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Master. Those never looked like landing. Montoya tries to clinch but Master is having none of it. Master misses with a head kick.
Montoya uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Master. Montoya looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Master throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Montoya accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montoya postures up.
Master throws his legs up looking for a submission but Montoya uses it to pass to side control.
Montoya will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Master tries to strike but it doesn't land. Montoya stands up and beckons Master to his feet. Master misses with a wild combination.
Master has taken the fight to the clinch.
Montoya breaks from the clinch.
Master will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Master has Montoya up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montoya blocks a body shot from Master. Montoya gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Master wants to control but Montoya is keeping busy.
Montoya is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Master has managed to free his arm - good work. Master trying to control from the bottom.
Montoya lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Master is defending against the submission attempts here by Montoya.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Master controlling the position well. Master is staying active underneath Montoya, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Montoya really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Montoya lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Montoya lands a nice short elbow. Master is trying to maintain the position but Montoya is very close to passing his half guard. Montoya tries to stand and escape but Master is controlling the position. Master avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Montoya. Montoya seems to be looking for submissions.
Master is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Master trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Montoya manages to pass to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wiley Montoya dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Danga de danga de dang - Master scores with a four punch combination! Master shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Montoya counters by moving into the clinch. Master breaks from the clinch.
Master changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Montoya tries to avoid it but Master manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Montoya to the ground. Montoya escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Montoya tries to clinch up. Master has his takedown stuffed and Montoya decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Master's guard. Wiley Montoya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Master. Master is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montoya wants to stand but Master has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Montoya drops back looking for a leg! Master is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Master manages to kick Montoya off! Montoya jumps back into Master's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Montoya passes into half guard.
Montoya thows a huge punch but Master dodges it nicely.
Montoya is working for a submission of some sort.
Master moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Master wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Montoya working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Montoya is looking to stand up but Master won't let him. Master trying to keep a closed guard but Montoya is proving a slippery customer.
Montoya has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Master is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Master is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Master is trying to keep Montoya in close.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Master doesn't succeed with the takedown and Montoya counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montoya stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Master tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Master lands an uppercut. Montoya is trying to break the clinch but Master has him pressed against the cage. Montoya is stalling here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Master is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Montoya leaning against his opponent.

Wiley Montoya dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Montoya gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Montoya pulls guard. Master would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Montoya looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Montoya is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Master gets to his feet. Montoya looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Master has taken the fight to the clinch.
Master wants a takedown but no success here.
Montoya is trying to maintain a safe position but Master gets an underhook and turns Montoya into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master looking for a takedown. Master goes for a takedown in the clinch but Montoya prevents it.
Wiley Montoya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Master. Master takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Master drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Montoya has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Master avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Master is trying to push Montoya away but Montoya has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Master prevents the takedown attempt.
Master is working for takedown but Montoya is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Master is looking to take this one to the mat. Montoya pulls Master into guard.
Montoya lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Master! Montoya working away from the top, dropping strikes. Montoya looking to secure an arm triangle but Master defends it well. Montoya gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Master napping and manages to drive through into side control! Montoya working the head and body with strikes. Montoya is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Master knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. A control attempt from Master but he's now mounted! Wiley Montoya overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Montoya working the ground and pound effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montoya scoring with strikes but Master is staying in there. Montoya gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Master gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Montoya counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Montoya tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Montoya has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! You can see the frustration on Master's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Nick Master has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wiley Montoya is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Montoya working the ground and pound from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Wiley Montoya showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Montoya, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
