Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Camacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvs Lupin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Terry Camacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Melvs Lupin!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupin closes the distance and clinches.
Lupin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Camacho shoots in and drives through. Lupin sprawls well.
Lupin takes the fight into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Lupin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Camacho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Camacho clinches up with Lupin and pushes him back against the cage.

Camacho has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lupin is working away from the top position though.

Camacho sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Camacho wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lupin.
Lupin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Lupin unloads with some shots from mount but Camacho bucks and avoids them well.
Lupin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Lupin with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Lupin is stalling here but it's allowed Camacho to get half guard.

Camacho fails in his attempt to clinch.
Melvs Lupin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lupin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lupin in particular looking to stall.
Camacho is refusing to be controlled, as Lupin sits in half guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Melvs Lupin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lupin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lupin pushes Camacho up against the cage in a clinch.
Lupin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Camacho uses from the top position.
Lupin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Camacho gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Lupin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lupin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Camacho regains half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Camacho is staying active underneath Lupin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lupin is looking for a kimura but Camacho is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lupin to get the leverage.
Camacho is looking to improve his position.

Camacho is in trouble now - Lupin has advanced to mount!
Lupin gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Melvs Lupin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lupin shoots in and gets a takedown into Camacho's guard.
Camacho is working an open guard so Lupin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Camacho gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Camacho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lupin did well to prevent Camacho getting side control.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Lupin manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Camacho is trying to pull guard but Lupin has him pressed against the cage.
Camacho breaks the clinch.
Camacho misses with a looping right.
Lupin lets loose with a powerful body kick. Camacho will feel that in the morning.
Lupin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Camacho sprawls well initially but Lupin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lupin content to control rather than advance.
Camacho is not content to let Lupin control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lupin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Melvs Lupin wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lupin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lupin wants to control from the top but Camacho keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lupin passes Camacho's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Lupin seems to be working for a kimura but Camacho defends the submission attempt.
Camacho is not content to let Lupin control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Melvs Lupin.
Camacho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lupin, pushing him back against the cage.
Lupin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lupin manages to end up in side control.
Camacho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lupin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lupin tries to score with some ground and pound. Camacho controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Camacho gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Camacho is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lupin pulls his head out easily.
Terry Camacho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Melvs Lupin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Melvs Lupin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lupin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
