Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Black Yusei!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yusei lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Yusei shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts David as he jumps to the side.
Yusei throws a combination but it was largely blocked by David.
Yusei doesn't succeed with the takedown
and David counters with a nice double leg into side control. Yusei won't be happy with that.
David tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no David has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
David wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yusei keeps working.
David is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Yusei has escaped the position, nice work there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
David is trying to get an arm triangle but Yusei is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yusei is trying to get back to half guard.
Yusei wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Yusei is being controlled here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
David thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
David goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Yusei rolls with the submission and now he's on top in David's guard! Nice work there by Yusei!
David looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yusei tries to stand but David is controlling from the bottom.
David wants to sweep here but Yusei controlling him for the moment.
Yusei must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
David looking for a guillotine here but Yusei defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yusei wants to stand and escape but instead David has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Yusei keeping moving, preventing David from controlling successfully.
David advances position into side control!
David is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Yusei has escaped the position, nice work there.
David is looking to take a break and control but Yusei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

David in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Yusei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with David. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Yusei sneaks back into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
David has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yusei throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Yusei connects with a high kick.
Yusei wants to clinch but David slips to the side
and David counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Yusei tries to kick David off but David keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
David is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
David is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! David extends the arm and Yusei is forced to tap!
