Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christophe Duggary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ain't No Sunshine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Wood! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christophe Duggary! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Wood throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wood just misses with a punch to the body.
Duggary gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wood breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Wood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Duggary misses with an uppercut. Wood saw that one coming. Wood slips a jab and a cross from Duggary.
Duggary with a poor takedown and Wood makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Duggary has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Duggary there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Christophe Duggary has been cut. Duggary lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wood circles away quickly and effectively. Wood just misses with a punch to the body.

A punch combination from Duggary misses. Wood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duggary moves away. Duggary throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Ryan Wood has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Duggary walks into a jab. Wood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggary moves into range and clinches up with Wood. Wood manages to break the clinch.
Wood misses with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Duggary. Wood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duggary moves away. Duggary shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ryan Wood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christophe Duggary. Wood looks to score with a jab to the body but Duggary is just out of range. Wood thows a body shot but no joy. Duggary scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wood fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Wood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duggary moves away. Duggary fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wood manages to avoid it. Duggary thumps Wood with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wood fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wood keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wood jabs Duggary to the body, keeping him at a distance. Wood throws a left and a right that both miss
and Duggary counters with a left and a right that stings Wood. Wood throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wood thows a left - swing and a miss! Duggary lands a right hook to the body.
Wood is breathing heavily. Duggary drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Duggary is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Duggary gets to his feet - Wood follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Duggary. Wood gets caught flat footed, as Duggary shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Duggary missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wood is trying to keep Duggary in close.
Wood is working an open guard so Duggary takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Duggary lands a nice hook to Wood's body. Wood takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Duggary gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Duggary is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wood gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wood. Duggary has Wood pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wood manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Duggary tightens his grip and picks Wood up, before dumping him to the ground. Wood manages to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Duggary slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Duggary told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Duggary is standing up over Wood. Wood looks to escape but Duggary dives into side control.
Duggary has hold of Wood's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wood seems comfortable defending it but Duggary has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wood is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wood is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Duggary couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A victorious Christophe Duggary thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. Ryan Wood was interviewed post fight and said 'Victor had a lucky as night.I will be back and a champion in this org. I want a rematch too.'.
