Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Gabaldon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden comes to the cage accompanied by Monster. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Durden showed some decent athleticism there.
Durden with the ground and pound but Gabaldon uses the opportunity to regain guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gabaldon can do anything to dispel that myth.
Durden throws an elbow that misses. Gabaldon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Durden's guard. Nice move by Gabaldon!
Durden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Durden wants to finish this one by submission but Gabaldon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Durden.
Gabaldon is looking to improve his position but Durden isn't that keen on the idea.
Durden misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gabaldon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gabaldon wants to pass the guard but Durden is keeping the position.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Gabaldon. No joy for Durden on that attempt.
Durden leaves Gabaldon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gabaldon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Durden quickly recovers to half guard.
Gabaldon is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Durden reverses the position - he's now on top in Gabaldon's guard.
Our spies down at at Main Event Gym inform us that Gabaldon has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

That's time! Durden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Gabaldon pushes Durden off looking to stand but Durden dives back in and keeps control.

Gabaldon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gabaldon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gabaldon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Durden is looking to escape.

I would just about give that final round to Juan Gabaldon.
