Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard De Villefort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Villefort shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hari as he jumps to the side.
De Villefort misses the shot to the body.
De Villefort shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hari pinned against the cage. Hari gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
De Villefort takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hari throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. De Villefort was covering up waiting for the punch and Hari finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hari gets to his feet. De Villefort looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hari scores with a hook.
Hari feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
