Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Stoned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stoned might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dr. Dre - The Watcher. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Stoned! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hans Gruber! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoned lands with a cross. Stoned looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Stoned throws a nice inside leg kick. Stoned scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gruber doesn't seem bothered though. A big right from Stoned misses. Nice shot lands for Gruber. A big right from Gruber misses. Hans Gruber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gruber connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stoned. Stoned circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gruber dives in for a single leg takedown but Stoned sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Stoned fails to land. Stoned is trying to push Gruber away but Gruber has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Stoned wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gruber is working for takedown but Stoned is calmly controlling the position for now. Gruber blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gruber is trying to pull guard but Stoned turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Oliver Stoned has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Gruber. Gruber's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoned scores with an uppercut up the middle. Stoned tries to break free but Gruber pushes him back against the cage. Gruber pulls guard effortlessly. Stoned stopping the sweep attempt from Gruber. Stoned wants to pass the guard but Gruber is keeping the position. Gruber trying to keep a closed guard but Stoned is proving a slippery customer.
Stoned sitting in guard here, content to control. Stoned seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gruber for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stoned passes Gruber's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gruber trying to hold on to Stoned's head to control him but Stoned postures up.
Stoned trying to control the pace. Gruber told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Gruber has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stoned is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stoned moves nicely into side control. Gruber tries to buck Stoned off but Stoned is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoned tries to advance to mount but Gruber instead regains half guard. Gruber trying to control but Stoned postures up.
Stoned takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Gruber keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Stoned wants to control but Gruber is keeping him busy.
We're going to have a standup here because Oliver Stoned wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Gruber waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stoned. Stoned feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gruber lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stoned! Stoned tries to hold on but Gruber postures up. Stoned sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gruber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stoned keeps working. Stoned is trying to control but can't.
Stoned looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gruber throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoned is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Stoned dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gruber on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A big right from Gruber misses. Crunch! Gruber slams his shin into Stoned's torso. Gruber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Stoned looks to throw the jab but Gruber is out of range. A big left from Gruber misses. Stoned fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gruber. Stoned avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gruber misses with a body shot.
Gruber's jab looks to have found its range, popping Stoned under the eye. Gruber misses with a few strikes there.
Stoned lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This has been an exciting period of action! An inside leg kick from Gruber misses. Gruber missing with a left hand there. Stoned was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gruber slaps away a takedown attempt from Stoned, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gruber lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Stoned counters with a nice uppercut. Gruber throws out a loose jab but Stoned uses good head movement to avoid it. Gruber scores with a body shot.

Gruber is rocked! Stoned missing with a left hand there. Gruber was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gruber slips a straight right by Stoned. Gruber throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hans Gruber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gruber throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gruber avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gruber throws a series of punches but Stoned avoids them all with ease. A looping hook to the body misses from Gruber. Stoned does a little dance to reset his feet. Stoned drops Gruber with a naaaaasty hook - Gruber is in real trouble here! Stoned dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Stoned! After winning the bout, Oliver Stoned thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
