Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kuai Liang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ewan Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liang kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is So Cold by Breaking Benjamin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kuai Liang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ewan Mcgregor! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcgregor thows a body shot but no joy. Liang moves into the clinch. Liang lands with a short head shot on the inside. Mcgregor is trying to maintain a safe position but Liang gets an underhook and turns Mcgregor into the cage. Mcgregor seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. A nice left hand lands by Liang.
Liang is leaning against Mcgregor and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Mcgregor is trying to pull guard but Liang has him pressed against the cage. Liang lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mcgregor backwards. Liang throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mcgregors head. Liang blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Liang lands with a left to the head. Liang is pushing Mcgregor up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Liang pushes Mcgregor back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Liang lands a shot to the body. Mcgregor is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Liang digs a right hand into Mcgregor's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mcgregor's gas tank. A right hook to the body lands for Liang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liang has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Mcgregor goes down! Liang dives on top of him - Mcgregor manages to get guard.
Mcgregor is rocked!
It looks like Ewan Mcgregor has been cut. Liang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mcgregor looks winded! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Liang advances to half guard. Mcgregor is still in real trouble! Can Liang finish him? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Liang working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We've been hearing good reports from Liang's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Liang works his way into full mount! Liang controlling his opponent. Liang postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Mcgregor bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Liang and the fight is over!
