Teixeira swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Teixeira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mercer tries to avoid it but Teixeira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mercer to the ground. Mercer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Teixeira enables Mercer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Teixeira manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mercer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
