Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Willis Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Axel Yuski! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young avoids the body shot from Yuski.
Yuski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Young shoots for a takedown but Yuski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Yuski misses with a wild combination.
Young gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Young is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Yuski! Yuski is trying desperately to improve position. Young with shots to the head and body - Yuski looks very uncomfortable down there. Young postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yuski looks a forlorn figure.
Yuski wants to control but Young is having none of it. Yuski is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young is landing with some decent strikes but Yuski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Young working away from the top, dropping strikes. Yuski really wants to buck Young off and get back to his feet. Yuski is working to get back to half guard.
Young lands with some strikes. Yuski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. BOOM! Young connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Young has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Yuski is wriggling around trying to escape.

Yuski is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Young is in the full mount, landing strikes. Yuski really wants to buck Young off and get back to his feet. Yuski looks gassed! The referee warns Yuski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Young loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Yuski scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Young land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Young stands and salutes the crowd.
