Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Chase Rollins! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Rollins.
Stevens looks to score with a jab to the body but Rollins is just out of range. Rollins thuds his right hand into Stevens's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Stevens has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rollins connects with an inside leg kick. Rollins with a body punch. A glancing blow. Stevens misses with a shot to the body and Rollins counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Stevens is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rollins stays in close to Stevens's body and controls the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Rollins trying to control the position from guard on top but Stevens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rollins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stevens's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stevens wants to sweep here but Rollins controlling him for the moment. Rollins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rollins's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rollins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stevens works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rollins won't allow Stevens to sweep him here. Stevens is working hard here to advance position. Rollins throws a strike but Stevens rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Rollins looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rollins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rollins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stevens passes Rollins's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ground and pound from Stevens. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stevens thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rollins's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rollins trying to hold on to Stevens's head to control him but Stevens postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens is looking to take a break and control but Rollins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stevens missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Stevens throws a strike but Rollins avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Rollins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stevens is staying active underneath Rollins, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rollins not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rollins prevents Stevens from improving his position. Stevens avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rollins. Rollins prevents Stevens from improving his position. Rollins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Stevens is looking to get back to full guard here but Rollins has managed to pass to side control instead. Rollins is trying to get an arm triangle but Stevens is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stevens is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chase Rollins dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rollins misses with a low kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Stevens. Rollins throws a leg kick that misses. Stevens drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Rollins tests Stevens's chin there with a solid looking shot. Rollins takes a jab right on the kisser.
Stevens walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Stevens shoots in but no luck this time. A lazy left from Rollins finds it's target. Rollins blocks a head kick by Stevens.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rollins. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stevens blocks the body kick.
Rollins throws a quick inside leg kick. Rollins misses with a lunging right hand
and Stevens counters with a straight right hand. Rollins avoids the body shot from Stevens.
Rollins lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Stevens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Stevens moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Rollins misses with a kick to the body.
Stevens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rollins was well out of range. Poor timing from Stevens. Stevens takes a swing at Rollins's ribcage but misses. Stevens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rollins moves away. Stevens looks to score with a jab to the body but Rollins is just out of range. A punch combination from Rollins misses. Stevens swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rollins. Stevens thows a body shot but no joy. Stevens's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rollins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stevens scrambles back to his feet. Stevens scores with a body shot.
Stevens is looking to wear down Rollins with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Stevens scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Chase Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stevens misses with a looping right. A nice inside leg kick there by Rollins. That's going to slow Stevens down. Stevens lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rollins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stevens's head. Rollins is looking to slow Stevens down with leg kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens swings for the body but Rollins moves out of range.
Rollins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stevens. Rollins throws a leg kick and Rollins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stevens looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Stevens takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rollins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Stevens misses with a straight right. Rollins delivers a nice body kick. Rollins lands with an uppercut that bounces Stevens off the cage and back into range. Stevens with a body punch. A glancing blow. Stevens throws a head kick but Rollins moves out of range.
Rollins tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Stevens throws an overhand right that lands on Rollins's shoulder, as Rollins tries to avoid the shot. A nice inside leg kick there by Rollins. That's going to slow Stevens down. Rollins lands a really nice looking cross but Stevens seems unphased.
Rollins throws a nice outside leg kick. Chase Rollins seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stevens throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Rollins - just one landing. Stevens takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rollins throws the kick towards the body but Stevens avoids it. Rollins fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stevens. Rollins scores with a hook to the body. Stevens takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rollins lands a body shot.
Stevens cracks a nice hook into Rollins's ribs. Stevens explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Stevens clobbers Rollins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rollins connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Rollins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stevens's calf. Rollins has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Stevens throws a body punch but Rollins moves out of range. Rollins turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stevens fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Stevens. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rollins lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Stevens fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stevens avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rollins. Rollins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stevens is trying to maintain the position but Rollins is very close to passing his half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Stevens manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Stevens throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rollins is posturing up here but Stevens has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rollins tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rollins has to tap! Slick submission there by Stevens!
