Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Zero Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joelmir Subzero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zero Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Alter Bridge's 'Metalingus'. Joelmir Subzero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Zero Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joelmir Subzero!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Subzero drives through with a takedown into Zero Jr's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Subzero preventing the sweep.
Subzero is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Zero Jr looking for subs off his back but Subzero has passed one foot through into half guard.
Zero Jr is looking for a sweep. Subzero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zero Jr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Zero Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Subzero on the ground.

Zero Jr looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Subzero uses his free foot to push down on Zero Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zero Jr.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Subzero wants to control the pace but Zero Jr is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Subzero looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Subzero jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zero Jr manages to avoid the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zero Jr is looking to reverse the position.

Subzero stands up and beckons Zero Jr to his feet.
Zero Jr thuds his shin into the meat of Subzero's side.
Zero Jr scores with a head kick. Subzero tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Subzero shoots in and gets a takedown into Zero Jr's guard.
Subzero slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Zero Jr has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Subzero is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Zero Jr.

Subzero is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Zero Jr is trying to escape and Subzero transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Zero Jr is forced to tap! Nice work there by Subzero! Very nice indeed!
