Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Qushairy!
Qushairy lands a lovely overhand right.
A combination from Qushairy does no damage.
Qushairy scores with a jab to the jaw.
A jab lands there for Qushairy.
Madison dives in and grabs Qushairy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Qushairy pushes down on Madison's head and hops out.

Madison takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Qushairy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Madison.
Qushairy feints a jab promting Madison to slip. Qushairy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Madison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Qushairy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Madison circles away quickly and effectively.

Madison fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fitry Qushairy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Madison.
Madison dodges the punch combination from Qushairy.
Madison shoots in for a takedown but Qushairy shows good takedown defense.
Madison shoots in looking for a takedown but Qushairy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Madison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Qushairy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Madison won't be happy with that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Qushairy wants to get back to his feet.

Madison is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Qushairy pulls his head out easily.

Qushairy is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Madison regains full guard. Nicely done.
Qushairy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Madison is proving hard to escape from.

Madison working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Qushairy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Qushairy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Madison is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Qushairy is aware though and is defending well.
We've been informed that Madison has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Madison is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Qushairy defends well.

Qushairy wants to get up but he can't break Madison's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Qushairy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Madison to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Qushairy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Madison pulls down on the head and he's put Qushairy to sleep! This one is all over!
