The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firkragg slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Bobby Brown has been cut.
Brown looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Firkragg waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Brown. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Brown to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Brown is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Firkragg forces his way into half guard.
Brown is still in real trouble! Can Firkragg finish him?
Firkragg not doing much here.
Firkragg definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Firkragg seems to be looking for submissions.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Firkragg is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Firkragg eventually gives up the hold.
Firkragg uses his free foot to push down on Brown's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Brown.
Brown tries to improve his position but Firkragg has taken his back! Firkragg has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Brown tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Firkragg pushes Brown away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jierdan Firkragg!
