The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vengeance clinches with his opponent.
Vengeance stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Shiro blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Vengeance scores a nice knee to the body.
Vengeance lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Juro Shiro has been cut.
Vengeance creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Shiro's defenses.
Vengeance dodges an elbow strike from Shiro.
Shiro takes an elbow to the temple.
Vengeance stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Vengeance lands an elbow that stopped Shiro in his tracks for a moment.

Juro Shiro's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shiro tries a body shot but Vengeance blocks it.
Vengeance lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Shiro misses with an elbow strike.
Knees in the clinch landing for Vengeance.
Shiro is breathing heavily.
Vengeance pushes Shiro back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Shiro is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Vengeance is keeping busy.
With the fighters up against the cage, Shiro throws an elbow but misses.
We've been hearing reports that Shiro has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Jeez, Juro Shiro's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Vengeance lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Juro Shiro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
