The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gordon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gordon throws a nice looking combination but Stevens bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gordon slaps away a takedown attempt from Stevens, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Stevens gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Gordon counter with a right hand.
It looks like Steven Stevens has been cut.
Gordon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Stevens!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevens is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Stevens is trying to get back to his feet.
Stevens parries the strikes from Gordon easily there. Gordon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stevens to escape.
Gordon stands up and beckons Stevens to his feet.

Stevens tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gordon defends well and Stevens ends up having to push Gordon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Stevens. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gordon breaks from the clinch.
Gordon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gordon drops Stevens with a beautiful combination! Stevens stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gordon is looking for the KO!

Stevens is breathing heavily.
Stevens is aggressively charging in as Gordon backs up avoiding any damage. Gordon tosses out a jab and Stevens runs right into it face first! Stevens is out cold! Gordon dropped down on all fours and is barking in Stevens's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Emil Gordon!
Steven Stevens was interviewed post fight and said 'Give me another fight!!!
