Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Pitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tigroklaws Demauler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitch's entrance music is Green Day Brain Stew. A fine choice. Tigroklaws Demauler will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mitch Pitch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tigroklaws Demauler! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demauler misses with a low kick. Pitch showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Demauler.
Demauler throws a right hand that Pitch ducks under and follows up with a left that Pitch also avoids with ease. Demauler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pitch moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Demauler misses with the combination.

Pitch shoots in and bounces Demauler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Pitch passes Demauler's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Pitch passes to side control. Pitch working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Pitch is looking to take a break and control but Demauler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demauler is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pitch is controlling him well. Pitch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pitch working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Demauler tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pitch wants to take a breather but Demauler manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Pitch. Pitch decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nice uppercut lands for Pitch. That snapped Demauler's head back.
Demauler scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Demauler swings away with a leg kick that misses. Tigroklaws Demauler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pitch fails with a takedown attempt. Pitch blocks a leg kick. Demauler misses with a wild combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pitch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Demauler throws a right and a left that Pitch avoids nicely. Pitch shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Demauler misses with a series of wild punches.
Demauler throws a series of punches but Pitch avoids them all with ease. Demauler looks gassed! Danga de danga de dang - Demauler scores with a four punch combination! Demauler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pitch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Demauler to the mat! Demauler manages to get full guard. Pitch wants to control from the top but Demauler keeps moving. Pitch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pitch showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Pitch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Demauler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pitch gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The fight stays on the outside here - Demauler looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pitch wants to clinch up but Demauler keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mitch Pitch dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Pitch bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pitch swings around for an armbar but Demauler sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pitch's guard. Pitch is looking for a triangle but Demauler pushes his legs off easily.

Demauler trying to control the position but Pitch is working away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pitch is looking to regain half guard here but Demauler keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Pitch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pitch manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Demauler is refusing to be controlled, as Pitch sits in half guard. Demauler is looking to escape. Demauler is staying active underneath Pitch, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Demauler wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Demauler misses with the combination.
Pitch gets a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Demauler wants to get back to striking at distance but Pitch won't allow it.
Demauler tries to break the clinch but Pitch is controlling the position. Pitch misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Demauler.
Pitch is working for takedown but Demauler is calmly controlling the position for now. Demauler wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pitch has him pressed against the cage. Demauler is trying to break free. Demauler is trying to break free. Demauler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Demauler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pitch. Demauler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pitch moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Demauler bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Pitch misses with a straight left. Demauler misses with a double jab.
Pitch closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pitch lands in his opponent's guard. Pitch slips nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pitch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Demauler is just riding it out for now. Pitch eventually gives up the hold. Pitch working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Demauler's thigh. Demauler counters though and makes it back to full guard. Pitch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Demauler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pitch has Demauler in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pitch is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pitch being controlled here, momentarily. Demauler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pitch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mitch Pitch dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Demauler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Demauler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pitch throwing strikes but Demauler manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Pitch tries to get back to half guard but can't. Demauler decides to stand back up. Demauler misses with a few strikes there.
Pitch wants to clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pitch loads up on a big right hand but Demauler slips the punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demauler throws a right hand that Pitch ducks under and follows up with a left that Pitch also avoids with ease. Pitch tries for a takedown but Demauler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A right-left combo lands from Demauler.
It looks like Mitch Pitch has been cut. Demauler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Demauler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Demauler darts in trying to clinch and Pitch counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pitch. Pitch has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Demauler uses from the top position. Pitch has an active guard here but Demauler has managed to pass into half guard.
Mitch Pitch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pitch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Demauler is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Pitch regains full guard. Nicely done. Demauler won't allow Pitch to sweep him here. Pitch throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Demauler escapes and throws Pitch's legs to the side, diving into side control! Demauler prevents Pitch from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demauler decides to stand back up. Demauler steps back and let's Pitch get back to his feet. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pitch. Pitch looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Demauler is fending him off so far but Pitch persists. Nope, Demauler circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mitch Pitch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Demauler misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pitch throws a hook to the side of Demauler's head but Demauler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Demauler misses with a combination
and Pitch counters with a single leg into guard. Demauler didn't expect that. Pitch trying to control the position from guard on top but Demauler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tigroklaws Demauler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pitch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Demauler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Demauler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Demauler! Pitch can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Demauler works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Pitch manages to work his way to half guard, despite Demauler's best efforts. Pitch is trying to control but can't.
Pitch is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Demauler pulls his head out easily. Pitch is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Demauler's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Demauler's back! Mitch Pitch is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pitch is controlling the position but Demauler somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mitch Pitch. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pitch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
