Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dirk Walters told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Trevor Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dirk Walters! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Walters.
It looks like Trevor Fisher has been cut. Fisher misses the shot to the body. Fisher jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Dirk Walters has been cut. Fisher rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Walters counters with a straight right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fisher lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Walters needs to keep his hands up - Fisher had a free shot at his head there. Fisher misses with a double jab.
Walters's coach down at Evil Emp-HEAD HUNTERS FIGHTCLUB ELITE was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Walters's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fisher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walters. Fisher misses with an uppercut. Walters saw that one coming. Fisher swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Walters swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Fisher misses the target. Nice cross by Walters. Fisher slips a jab and a cross from Walters.
Walters scores with a one two! Fisher had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. A telegraphed right hand from Fisher misses the target. Walters swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Walters counters with a left and a right that stings Fisher. Fisher throws a hook to the side of Walters's head but Walters sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Walters. Those never looked like landing. Walters lands a nice shot that snaps Fisher's head back.
Trevor Fisher's cut is getting worse. Fisher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walters. Walters looks to land a combination but Fisher avoids it well. Walters misses with a hook. Fisher ducked under it nicely. Walters takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A cross from Walters lands. Fisher throws an off balance right hand
and Walters counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Walters swinging wildly here.

Good exchange - Fisher coming out on top. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fisher throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Walters keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fisher tests Walters's chin there with a solid looking shot. Walters loads up on a big right hand but Fisher slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walters thuds a left hand into Fisher's body. Fisher works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That has opened up Dirk Walters's cut even more. Fisher misses with a looping left. Fisher looks to score with a jab to the body but Walters is just out of range. Walters moves away from the strike by Fisher. Fisher swinging wildly here.
Fisher feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Walterss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nice shot lands for Fisher. Fisher is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Fisher throws a jab when Walters was well out of range. Fisher looks to land a right hand but Walters moved out of range. Trevor Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walters lunges at Fisher with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fisher's hand. Walters fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheers as Fisher lands an impressive looking overhand right. Walters doesn't seem phased though. Fisher misses with a straight left. Fisher has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fisher there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fisher throws a hook but Walters blocks it. Fisher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walters. Fisher is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Fisher connects with a body shot that sends Walters's belly button to the back. Fisher loads up on a big right hand but Walters slips the punch. Fisher just misses with a punch to the body.

Fisher throws a shot from downtown. Walters moves away and avoids it. Fisher just misses with a punch to the body.
Fisher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Walters.
Walters moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The cut above Dirk Walters's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fisher lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Walters throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fisher misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walters.
Fisher jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fisher fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fisher on the wrong end of a nice jab. Walters lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Walters. Fisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walters slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Trevor Fisher's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Walters looks to land a combination but Fisher avoids it well. Fisher displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Fisher needs to keep his hands up - Walters had a free shot at his head there. Fisher rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walters moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fisher throws a lazy right hand but Walters sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Some wild striking there from Walters.

letting Walters counter with a right hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fisher tries to bum rush Walters with a series of wild strikes but Walters uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fisher walks into a straight right hand from Walters. Fisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fisher misses the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Trevor Fisher will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Walters counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fisher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walters circles away quickly and effectively. Walters slips a jab and a cross from Fisher.

and Fisher takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fisher throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Walters sees it coming and avoids it easily. Trevor Fisher is winning the standup battle so far. Fisher scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Fisher throws a right and a left that both miss. Fisher misses with a hook to the body
and Walters counters with a two punch combo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walters throws a right and a left that Fisher avoids nicely. Fisher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walters moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Walters.
Jeez, Trevor Fisher's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Dirk Walters is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Walters slips under a jab from Fisher. Walters lands with a hook. Fisher tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Trevor Fisher's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
