Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Boschat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thor Boschat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Owen Burger!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Boschat does it's job there.
Burger moves out of range of the strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burger. Boschat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Burger's coach down at Madz was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Burger's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Burger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boschat can pounce on him.
Boschat lands a nice shot that snaps Burger's head back.
It looks like Owen Burger has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boschat lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice defenses there by Burger.
Boschat cracks Burger with a right hand to the side of the head.
Boschat uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burger.
Burger throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boschat gets in close and tags Burger with a short punch that almost sends Burger to the mat! Oh Burger is in big trouble! He turns his back on Boschat, trying to create some distance but Boschat rushes him, striking wildly and Burger goes down! The referee tackles Boschat into the cage to end the fight! Boschat is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thor Boschat!
An out of breath Thor Boschat thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
