Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Fynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sum Yung Gai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Fynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sum Yung Gai! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Topper Green and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Fynn.
Fynn shoots in and bounces Gai off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fynn stopping the sweep attempt from Gai. We've been hearing good reports from Fynn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Gai is looking for a triangle here but Fynn uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Gai tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fynn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gai manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Gai manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fynn stopping the sweep attempt from Gai. Gai is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gai keeping full guard, as Fynn tries to pass. Fynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Gai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gai looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fynn puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Fynn tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gai. Fynn is trying to control. Gai wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fynn tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Gai strikes from the bottom but Fynn uses the opportunity to move to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gai manages to get back to half guard. Fynn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gai on the ground. Gai works his way to full guard. Good work. Gai throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Gai is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fynn is aware though and is defending well. Gai throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Fynn stopping the sweep attempt from Gai. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gai looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fynn passes into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sum Yung Gai dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fynn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gai throws a head kick that misses. Gai walks into a straight right hand from Fynn. Gai circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fynn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fynn plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Gai swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Gai face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
