0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sherwood Walsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmie Bronson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walsh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bronson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bronson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Walsh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Walsh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bronson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Walsh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Walsh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bronson as he jumps to the side. Walsh moves in looking to clinch but Bronson pushes him off. Walsh fails with the takedown and Bronson moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sherwood Walsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronson lands a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bronson scoring with some ground and pound. Bronson works over Walsh with some ground and pound from guard. Bronson stands up over Walsh, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bronson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Walsh trying to keep a closed guard but Bronson is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jimmie Bronson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bronson tries to sprawl but Walsh drives through with a takedown into half guard. Walsh seems to be looking for submissions.
Bronson is refusing to be controlled, as Walsh sits in half guard. Walsh tries to stand and escape but Bronson actually recovers to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bronson pulls Walsh in to control the position. Bronson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Walsh is one step ahead there. Bronson has his hands on Walsh's head, controlling the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Sherwood Walsh wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bronson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walsh. Walsh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bronson counters by moving into the clinch. Walsh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bronson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walsh tries to clinch but Bronson moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmie Bronson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Walsh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bronson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Walsh with a poor takedown and Bronson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bronson smiles and moves away.

Bronson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Jimmie Bronson has got the better of the ground game so far. Bronson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh is looking for a sweep. Bronson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ground and pound from Bronson.
Walsh is rocked! Bronson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bronson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Oh Walsh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bronson landing shots from mount. Bronson controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronson lands a big elbow - Walsh is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Walsh is forced to tap out!
