Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dimont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nego Dobom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dobom has chosen Bad to the bone by George Thorogood as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Dimont!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nego Dobom!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimont has a takedown stuffed.
Dobom misses with a leg kick.
Dobom moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Dobom tries to clinch but Dimont is having none of it.
Dimont looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dobom is fending him off so far but Dimont persists. Nope, Dobom circles away and we're back to standing.
Dobom throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dobom lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
We've been hearing reports that Dimont has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Dobom connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dimont. Dimont circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Dimont closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dobom's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dimont throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dobom's waist but Dobom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dimont off to one side.

Dimont is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Dimont takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nego Dobom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dimont shoots in for a takedown but Dobom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck for Dimont with that takedown attempt.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dobom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dimont crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dobom - the referee stops the clock and Dimont gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dobom. Dimont manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dimont.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Nego Dobom.
I think Dobom has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
