Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Kurse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurse comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) - Fall Out Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Abraham Kurse acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Redfield! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abraham Kurse! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redfield looks to land a right hand but Kurse moved out of range. Redfield throws a hook but Kurse blocks it. Redfield ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kurse moves away. Chris Redfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Redfield throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kurse steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Redfield. Redfield throws a jab but it's blocked by Kurse. Redfield throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nice defenses there by Kurse. Redfield throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kurse has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Redfield fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Redfield throws an off balance right hand
and Kurse counters with a single leg into guard. Redfield didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kurse trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kurse preventing the sweep. Kurse drops back looking for a leg! Redfield is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Redfield manages to kick Kurse off! Kurse jumps back into Redfield's guard. Redfield knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kurse on the ground. Kurse is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kurse drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kurse jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kurse slips nicely into half guard. Kurse maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Redfield could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kurse has cracked it and Redfield is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kurse!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Abraham Kurse! Abraham Kurse is the new middleweight champion! In his post fight interview, Abraham Kurse gave a big smile as he said 'I told everyone that I would become the champion. I'm the man to beat here. I don't care about any non sense superfight or a fighter that never even fought professionally in his career. I care about winning and holding a belt. That's what I did and that's what I'll do.'.
