Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ripp Arrm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Porter has chosen Vicarious by Tool as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ripp Arrm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Porter! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arrm shoots in but Porter avoids the takedown attempt easily. Porter gets caught flat footed, as Arrm shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Porter controls Arrm momentarily but Arrm frees himself. Arrm trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Porter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Arrm throwing strikes from guard but Porter blocks nicely. Porter trying to keep a closed guard but Arrm is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Arrm is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Porter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arrm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Arrm trying to control the position from guard on top but Porter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Arrm scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Arrm pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Porter is keeping the position for now. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Porter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Arrm is controlling him. Arrm slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ground and pound from Arrm seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Arrm grinds an elbow into Porter's temple. The strikes coming from Arrm are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Arrm working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Arrm is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Porter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arrm connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Porter some visible discomfort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Arrm tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Arrm has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Porter parries the strikes from Arrm easily there. Arrm is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Porter to escape.
Porter wants to control but Arrm postures up. Porter pushes Arrm away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Arrm gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Porter is trying to control Arrm's posture but Arrm avoids it. Porter gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ripp Arrm dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Arrm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Porter lands with a kick to the temple. Arrm shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Ripp Arrm has been cut. Arrm avoids the head kick by Porter.
Arrm walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Porter fails to land with a series of punches.
Porter misses with the combination.
Daniel Porter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Porter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A head kick misses from Porter. Arrm feints and as Porter raises his hands in defense, Arrm changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Porter is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arrm wants to control from the top but Porter keeps moving. Arrm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Arrm advances to half guard. Arrm is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Porter doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Arrm. Porter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Arrm scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arrm lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Porter gets full guard. Arrm drops back, looking for a kneebar! Porter looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Porter looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Porter! Arrm is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arrm regains half guard. Arrm misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arrm is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Arrm trying to control but Porter postures up.
Arrm gets full guard. Arrm is trying to keep Porter in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Arrm is looking to sinch up a triangle. Porter throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Arrm's body to avoid the submission. Arrm has instead reached around Porter's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Arrm arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ripp Arrm!
