The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson moves out of range as Crownguard throws a body kick.
Simpson tries to clinch up but Crownguard circles away and keeps his distance.
Crownguard scores with a kick to the midsection.
Simpson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crownguard as he jumps to the side.
Simpson avoids the head kick by Crownguard.
Crownguard misses with a kick to the body.
Simpson closes the distance but Crownguard moves to the side
and Crownguard counters by moving into the clinch.
Crownguard connects with a knee to the head.
Crownguard unloads a knee to the mid-section.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crownguard is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Simpson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crownguard fights it off and pushes away nicely.
