Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Short (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pieter Daan Mostert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Short has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pieter Daan Mostert was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Short!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pieter Daan Mostert!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mostert fails with a takedown attempt.
Short could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mostert looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Short is fending him off so far but Mostert persists. Nope, Short circles away and we're back to standing.
Mostert tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Short paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Short changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mostert tries to avoid it but Short manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mostert to the ground. Mostert escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Short is breathing heavily.
Mostert rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Short moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Short fails to land with a series of punches.
Mostert looking to score a takedown here. Short is defending well but Mostert drives through and ends up in Short's guard.
Mostert passes Short's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Short is in trouble now - Mostert has advanced to mount!
Mostert looking to control but Short is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mostert is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Short is forced to tap! Great finish!
