Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xzing Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Van Bruinier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Van Bruinier's choice of entrance music: Girlfrind. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Bruinier throws a series of punches but Gomez avoids them all with ease.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Van Bruinier as he avoids it easily.
Leo Van Bruinier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Bruinier throws a series of punches but Gomez moves out of range.
Van Bruinier throws a sloppy head kick and Gomez moves out of range easily.
Van Bruinier leaves Gomez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Van Bruinier.
Gomez throws a shot from downtown. Van Bruinier moves away and avoids it.
Gomez misses with a takedown attempt - Van Bruinier sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xzing Gomez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gomez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Van Bruinier comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Van Bruinier looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gomez throws a solid leg kick but Van Bruinier takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gomez.
Gomez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Van Bruinier sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Crunch! Van Bruinier slams his shin into Gomez's torso.
Gomez dives in and grabs Van Bruinier's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Bruinier pushes down on Gomez's head and hops out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Van Bruinier lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gomez's sensitive parts.
Van Bruinier's corner calls for a 1-2. Van Bruinier obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Van Bruinier throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Van Bruinier scores with a shot to the body.

Gomez rushes Van Bruinier and presses him up against the cage.
Gomez wants a takedown but no success here.
Gomez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Van Bruinier is pressed up against the cage. Gomez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Van Bruinier down to the mat. Van Bruinier avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gomez is breathing heavily.
Van Bruinier misses with a few strikes there.
Van Bruinier throws a combination. Gomez tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gomez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Gomez is rocked!
Van Bruinier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oh Gomez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Van Bruinier fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gomez.
Gomez seems to have got his legs back now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Van Bruinier cracks the inside of Gomez's front leg.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gomez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Van Bruinier lands with a right hand.
Gomez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Van Bruinier lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Gomez out cold! Gomez is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

During a confident post fight interview, Leo Van Bruinier thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
