Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between douglas veloso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christopher Reyes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, douglas veloso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Reyes! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes tries to bum rush veloso with a series of wild strikes but veloso uses good footwork to avoid the assault. veloso shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reyes as he jumps to the side. Reyes avoids the head kick by veloso.
veloso is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reyes. Reyes's corner calls for a 1-2. Reyes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. veloso misses with a double jab
and Reyes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. veloso swings away with a leg kick that misses. veloso tries to bum rush Reyes with a series of wild strikes but Reyes uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Reyes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reyes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
veloso is rocked! Reyes scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Oh veloso is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! veloso has taken the fight to the clinch.
veloso seems to have got his legs back now. veloso fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes has had enough of the clinch but veloso keeps him there for the moment. veloso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
veloso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for douglas veloso. That's going to take a lot out of him. veloso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reyes as he avoids it easily. veloso shoots in but Reyes avoids the takedown attempt easily. veloso takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
veloso fails miserably with a takedown attempt. veloso is breathing heavily. Reyes thuds a left hand into veloso's body. veloso tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reyes paws at him with a jab and circles away. veloso takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Reyes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Christopher Reyes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes lands with a big left! veloso is wobbled badly! Reyes comes in with a flurry of punches and drops veloso to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Christopher Reyes!
