Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Serg Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Olaf Molotov! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molotov throws a sloppy head kick and Ramirez moves out of range easily. Ramirez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Olaf Molotov has been cut. A punch combination from Ramirez misses. Molotov shoots in but no luck this time. Serg Ramirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramirez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ramirez with a lazy takedown attempt and Molotov counters with a big head kick but Ramirez shrugs it off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Ramirez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Molotov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ramirez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Molotov to the mat. Molotov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Molotov is pulling down on Ramirez's head. It's preventing any offense from Ramirez, at least for the moment. Molotov looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ramirez passes into half guard.
Molotov holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Ramirez wants to stand up but Molotov is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Molotov wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Molotov controlling the position for now. Ramirez performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ramirez decides to stand up. Molotov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Molotov looks gassed! Ramirez looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Molotov wants to control but Ramirez is keeping him busy. Well, if Molotov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ramirez is trying to maintain the position but Molotov is very close to passing his half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ramirez has his takedown stuffed and Molotov counters with a nice double leg into guard. Molotov trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramirez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ramirez has a closed guard, preventing Molotov from standing up. Ramirez uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez throws a series of punches but Molotov avoids them all with ease. Molotov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ramirez circles away. Molotov closes the distance and clinches up with Ramirez, looking for a takedown. Molotov pushes Ramirez against the cage but Ramirez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Serg Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olaf Molotov. Ramirez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Molotov working to try and regain half guard.
Ramirez trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ramirez controlling from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Molotov tries to hold on but Ramirez postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Serg Ramirez dominated that round. The cut man is working on Olaf Molotov's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ramirez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Molotov tries to avoid it but Ramirez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Molotov to the ground. Molotov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ramirez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Molotov is fending him off so far but Ramirez persists. Nope, Molotov circles away and we're back to standing. Molotov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ramirez! Molotov working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Molotov gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Ramirez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Molotov circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Serg Ramirez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Excellent takedown into side control there by Molotov. Ramirez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Molotov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez can't do much from the bottom here. Molotov in side control, just content to control the action for now. Molotov working the ground and pound from side control. Molotov wants to control but Ramirez is keeping him busy. Ramirez regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ramirez tries to roll over but Molotov keeps him under control. Molotov is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Molotov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ramirez!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez wants to hold on but Molotov pushes him away. Ramirez wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Molotov.
Molotov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Molotov is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Molotov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ramirez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ramirez lands with a cross. Excellent takedown into side control there by Molotov. Molotov in the domination position with Ramirez hanging on. Ramirez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Molotov working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Olaf Molotov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Olaf Molotov's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Molotov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Molotov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ramirez but Ramirez pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ramirez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Molotov to the mat! Molotov manages to get full guard. Olaf Molotov has got the better of the ground game so far. Molotov trying to keep a closed guard but Ramirez is proving a slippery customer.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Molotov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Molotov with a lazy takedown attempt and Ramirez counters with a one-two to the body. Serg Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olaf Molotov. Horrible takedown by Molotov or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramirez which made him look bad. Molotov shoots in but no luck this time. Ramirez misses with a two punch combination.

Ramirez gets the takedown into side control. Ramirez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Molotov to his feet. Molotov misses with a takedown attempt - Ramirez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez throws a body kick the misses and Molotov counters with a single leg into guard. Ramirez didn't expect that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Molotov stops Ramirez from standing up. Molotov wants to stand but Ramirez is controlling his posture from full guard. Ramirez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ramirez is working hard here to advance position. Molotov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Olaf Molotov. I think Molotov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
