The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel forces Cruz back against the cage and clinches.
Diesel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Diesel tries to clinch there but Cruz circles away.
Cruz could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Diesel looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Diesel won't allow Cruz to sweep him here.
Cruz is looking to stand up but Diesel isn't so interested in that idea.
Diesel is stalling in the full guard.
Cruz wants to stand but Diesel is controlling the position.
Diesel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cruz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diesel tries to stand but Cruz is controlling from the bottom.
