Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bishop Huff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bishop Huff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ethan Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a right hand that misses
and Huff counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Huff tries a low kick but Brooks avoids it.
Huff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brooks paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brooks misses with a series of wild punches.
Brooks looks for a takedown but Huff sprawls well.
Huff tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Brooks slaps away a takedown attempt from Huff, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Huff drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brooks gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ethan Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Huff has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brooks uses from the top position.

Brooks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Huff will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Brooks had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Huff defends it easily.
Huff seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brooks is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Huff is aware though and is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Bishop Huff will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Brooks dives in for a single leg takedown but Huff sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Huff lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brooks has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brooks and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

I think Brooks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
