Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jebidiah Tayber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tayber is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Terravita - Adult Robot Kung Fu. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jebidiah Tayber! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman Jr on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Coleman Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tayber defends well and Coleman Jr ends up having to push Tayber into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tayber unloads a knee to the mid-section. Coleman Jr lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Tayber gets underhooks to prevent Coleman Jr's takedown attempt.
Coleman Jr is trying to pull guard but Tayber turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Coleman Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tayber gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Tayber gets underhooks to prevent Coleman Jr's takedown attempt.

We've been hearing reports that Coleman Jr has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Coleman Jr jumps guard but Tayber stands there with Coleman Jr around his waist. Coleman Jr gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Tayber is pressed up against the cage. Coleman Jr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tayber down to the mat. Tayber avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Coleman Jr throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tayber tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Coleman Jr is in Tayber's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Coleman Jr throws an elbow that misses. Tayber uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Coleman Jr's guard. Nice move by Tayber! Tayber with a flurry of punches that miss. Coleman Jr is trying to keep Tayber in close.
Coleman Jr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tayber manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tayber looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tayber is trying to control the position but Coleman Jr postures up. Coleman Jr with a flurry of punches that miss. Tayber trying to control the position.
Tayber has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coleman Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Coleman Jr wants to control from the top but Tayber keeps moving. Tayber has momentary wrist control but Coleman Jr slips an elbow through the middle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tayber is trying to control the position but Coleman Jr postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tayber keeping full guard, as Coleman Jr tries to pass. Tayber looking to control.
Coleman Jr slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tayber wants to control but Coleman Jr postures up. Coleman Jr advances to full mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coleman Jr trying to control but he's not successful this time. Coleman Jr lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The referee warns Tayber that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tayber is rocked! Coleman Jr loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Tayber scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Coleman Jr land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Coleman Jr stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Coleman Jr! Mark Coleman Jr was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
