Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jethro Savage!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brona shoots and misses
and Savage counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Savage gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brona to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Savage is looking for a triangle but Brona pushes his legs off easily.
Savage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brona doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brona manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Savage not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Brona postures up and lands a big shot to Savage's brow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brona throws a big right hand that misses.
Savage lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brona!
Savage avoids the attempt from Brona to control.

Brona is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Brona is bucking up trying to escape but Savage cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Savage raining down shots from the mount!
Savage throws some wild stikes that Brona manages to avoid easily.
Savage wants to control the action but instead Brona gets a body lock and reverses into Savage's guard! Nice work!
Brona trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Savage has an active guard here but Brona has managed to pass into half guard.
Brona drops an elbow to the side of Savage's head.
Brona moves into full mount! Savage won't be happy about that!

The referee warns Savage that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Savage can't escape the position.
Brona landing strikes from the mount.

Savage is still in real trouble! Can Brona finish him?
Brona drops a big elbow. That's hurt Savage! More shots from Brona and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DJ Brona!
After the fight, DJ Brona was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Jethro Savage stepped up to the mic, saying 'Hell of a fighter this guy is. what can I say'.
