The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastanovich tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gangmanstyle was well out of range. Poor timing from Nastanovich.
Gangmanstyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nastanovich.
Nastanovich throws a body punch but Gangmanstyle moves out of range.
No joy there for Gangmanstyle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nastanovich has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gangmanstyle is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gangmanstyle throws a half hearted mid kick.

Gangmanstyle looking to score a takedown here. Nastanovich is defending well but Gangmanstyle drives through and ends up in Nastanovich's guard.
Nastanovich pulls Gangmanstyle in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nastanovich has his foot on Gangmanstyle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gangmanstyle works his way back into a safe position though.

Nastanovich is looking for a triangle but Gangmanstyle pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nastanovich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gangmanstyle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gangmanstyle postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Gangmanstyle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nastanovich is proving hard to escape from.

Gangmanstyle wants to control from the top but Nastanovich keeps moving.
Gangmanstyle is looking to stand up but Nastanovich won't let him.

Nastanovich is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gangmanstyle is aware though and is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gangmanstyle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Obban Gangmanstyle has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Nastanovich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Nastanovich shoots in but Gangmanstyle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gangmanstyle shoots for a takedown but Nastanovich saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gangmanstyle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nastanovich sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gangmanstyle somewhat.
Gangmanstyle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nastanovich throws a body punch but Gangmanstyle moves out of range.

and Gangmanstyle counters by moving into the clinch.
Gangmanstyle is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nastanovich to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Obban Gangmanstyle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nastanovich misses with a punch on the inside.

Nastanovich wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gangmanstyle is trying to pull guard but Nastanovich turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Nastanovich tries to break the clinch but Gangmanstyle is controlling the position.
Gangmanstyle is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Nastanovich is trying to maintain a safe position but Gangmanstyle gets an underhook and turns Nastanovich into the cage.

Nastanovich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gangmanstyle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gangmanstyle goes for a double leg but Nastanovich avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nastanovich continues to drive forward.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A frustrated look appears on Nastanovich's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Nastanovich misses with a body punch.

Gangmanstyle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bobby Nastanovich will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gangmanstyle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Gangmanstyle is looking to clinch.
Gangmanstyle slips under a jab.
Nastanovich slaps away a takedown attempt from Gangmanstyle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gangmanstyle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nastanovich is fending him off so far but Gangmanstyle persists. Nope, Nastanovich circles away and we're back to standing.

Nastanovich feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nastanovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gangmanstyle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gangmanstyle pushes Nastanovich off looking to stand but Nastanovich dives back in and keeps control.
Nastanovich has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nastanovich takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Gangmanstyle won't enjoy being in this position. Nastanovich looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Gangmanstyle is tapping - it's over boys! Nastanovich picks up the submission victory!
