Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Krigare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac - Uppercut. Krigare has chosen Achtung Pantzer by Raubtier as his entrance music. Daniel Krigare has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mike Tyson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Tyson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Krigare! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson closes the distance looking to clinch and Krigare counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tyson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tyson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Krigare lands a nice shot that snaps Tyson's head back.

Krigare swings for the body but Tyson moves out of range.
Tyson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Krigare takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krigare throws a leg kick but Tyson moved away. Tyson fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson feints a jab promting Krigare to slip. Tyson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Krigare slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Tyson shoots in and bounces Krigare off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Tyson trying to control the position from guard on top but Krigare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krigare looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

This has been an exciting period of action! Tyson postures up in Krigare's guard and throws a big left but Krigare blocks it.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tyson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Krigare is keeping the position for now. That's three minutes gone in the round. Krigare isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tyson stacks Krigare on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tyson! Krigare tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tyson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tyson trying to control the action but Krigare is working from the bottom. Tyson cracks Krigare with an elbow. That is naaassty. Tyson is working Krigare over with some ground and pound from side control. Tyson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Krigare tries to bench press Tyson off him but Tyson keeps the position. Tyson working away. Krigare is trying to improve his position. Tyson scores with a couple of short elbows.

The referee asks Tyson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tyson prefers to stall for the moment though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! You can see the frustration on Krigare's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've been hearing that Tyson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Tyson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Krigare down.
Krigare can't do much from the bottom here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krigare might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tyson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Tyson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Krigare keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Krigare is trying to get back to full guard. Tyson is thwarting Krigare's attempts to control the position. Krigare is refusing to be controlled, as Tyson sits in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Krigare connects with a body shot.

and Tyson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Tyson takes a decent strike to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tyson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Krigare looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tyson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Krigare is trying to maintain the position but Tyson is very close to passing his half guard. Tyson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Tyson slips a nice elbow through Krigare's hands, connecting with Krigare's forehead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krigare is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tyson pulls his head out easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyson is looking for a kimura but Krigare is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tyson to get the leverage. Tyson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round but Mike Tyson did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
