8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JaMarcus Russell! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Winslow. Russell closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Winslow's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Russell trying to control the position from guard on top but Winslow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Winslow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Winslow throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Russell working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Russell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Winslow seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Winslow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Russell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Russell with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Russell jumps back into Winslow's guard. Winslow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Russell is aware though and is defending well. Russell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Winslow looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Winslow looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Winslow! This has been an exciting period of action! Winslow landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Russell pushes Winslow away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Winslow gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Russell is working to avoid the ground and pound but Winslow connects with a decent elbow.

No, Russell has escaped the position, nice work there. Russell takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Winslow is working Russell over with some ground and pound from side control. Russell is trying to buck Winslow off. Winslow working the ground and pound but Russell is defending the strikes. Russell wants to get back to his feet. Winslow is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Russell has escaped the position, nice work there. Winslow is putting a hurting on Russell here, landing some big shots from side control. Winslow throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Russell works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Winslow prevents Russell from standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winslow seems to be working for a kimura but Russell defends the submission attempt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Winslow winds up and cracks Russell with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Winslow thows a huge punch but Russell dodges it nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Winslow is looking for a kimura but Russell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Winslow to get the leverage. Winslow is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Shane Winslow dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Winslow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Winslow wants it to stay on the feet. Shane Winslow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Winslow leaves Russell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Russell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Winslow working for a triangle but Russell defends it easily.

He's being very persistent here but Winslow manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Winslow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Winslow stops Russell from standing up. Winslow wants to pass the guard but Russell is keeping the position.

Winslow distracts Russell with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Russell wants to get back to his feet but Winslow is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Winslow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Winslow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Winslow throws a strike but Russell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Winslow is looking to cinch up a triangle. Russell throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Winslow's body to avoid the submission. Winslow has instead reached around Russell's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Winslow arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Shane Winslow! Shane Winslow made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'And once again I show that I have improved, in every aspect of the game, whoever you are, don't give up on anything, I am the proof that if you want it bad enough, you get it! '.
