Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kreb Barishkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barishkov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Seek and Destroy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kreb Barishkov! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barishkov lands a slapping body shot.
Wallace takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Barishkov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wallace checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Barishkov thows a leg kick but Wallace checks it and Wallace counters with an inside leg kick. Barishkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Barishkov with a hook. Wallace misses with a low kick. Barishkov misses with a low kick. Wallace moves out of range of the body kick from Barishkov.
Barishkov misses with an uppercut. Wallace saw that one coming. Barishkov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wallace takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Wallace throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Kreb Barishkov has been cut. Wallace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Barishkov defends it nicely. Wallace lands a slapping body shot.
Wallace tried to score with a low kick but Barishkov checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left and a right from Barishkov both land. Nice combination. Wallace lands a nice shot that snaps Barishkov's head back.

Nice straight punches there by Barishkov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Barishkov. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barishkov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Barishkov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Wallace is out of range. Wallace fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Barishkov misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wallace counters with a nice leg kick. Wallace has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Wallace misses with a shot to the body and Barishkov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wallace works Barishkov's body with a nice hook. Wallace tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Barishkov is able to avoid easily. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barishkov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wallace has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wallace and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Barishkov scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Barishkov throws a big shot that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace dives in and grabs Barishkov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barishkov pushes down on Wallace's head and hops out. Wallace lands with a good body shot. Wallace tries to clinch but Barishkov is having none of it. Barishkov misses with a low kick as Wallace jumps back. Wallace misses with a body shot.
Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barishkov. Wallace keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Barishkov. Barishkov looks to score with a jab to the body but Wallace is just out of range. Wallace lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Wallace looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Wallace in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wallace not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barishkov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wallace is one step ahead there. Wallace postures up in Barishkov's guard and throws a big left but Barishkov blocks it. Wallace postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wallace controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Russell Wallace. Wallace drives through and clinches with Barishkov against the cage.
Barishkov misses with a short punch on the inside. Barishkov lands a shoulder strike. Wallace lands a nice shot to the body. Wallace cracks Barishkov with a nice body shot. Wallace has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Barishkov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Russell Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace lands a hook that snaps the head of Barishkov backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Barishkov swings wildly with an uppercut but Wallace uses good head movement to avoid it. Barishkov throws a head punch that misses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A right hand to the body from Wallace.
A nice right hand lands inside from Wallace. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Barishkov. Barishkov throws a punch but it's blocked by Wallace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Russell Wallace will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kreb Barishkov's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wallace ducks under a wild hook from Barishkov. Wallace walks into a straight right hand from Barishkov. Barishkov stuffs the takedown. Barishkov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kreb Barishkov seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wallace closes the distance and pushes Barishkov back into the cage. Wallace has Barishkov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Barishkov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Barishkov misses with a punch to the body.
A short body shot lands from Barishkov as the two fighters clinch.
Barishkov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Barishkov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Barishkov misses the shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barishkov wants to land a leg kick but Wallace is out of range. Barishkov looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Barishkov scores with a nice head shot. Barishkov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Wallace throws a right hand that misses
and Barishkov counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wallace looks to land a body kick but Barishkov moved away. Wallace lunges at Barishkov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barishkov's hand. Wallace throws a low kick, looking for Barishkov's leg but Barishkov calmly moves out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wallace avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wallace moves out of range of the leg kick from Barishkov. Barishkov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wallace was well out of range. Poor timing from Barishkov. Barishkov swings widly with a right hand
and Wallace counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Barishkov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wallace steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barishkov. Barishkov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barishkov throws a shot from downtown. Wallace moves away and avoids it. Barishkov misses with a body kick. Wallace uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barishkov. Wallace misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wallace connects with a good right hand that stumbles Barishkov. Barishkov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Barishkov just misses with a punch to the body.
Wallace moves out of range as Barishkov strikes. Wallace misses with a two punch combination.
Wallace displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barishkov throws out the jab. Wallace lands with a nice body punch. Wallace moves away from the strike by Barishkov. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wallace, right into the meat.
Good leg kick by Wallace there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Barishkov is breathing heavily. Wallace shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace throws a big right hand that misses. Wallace wants to stand but Barishkov has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Barishkov keeping full guard, as Wallace tries to pass. Wallace controls from within his opponent's guard. Wallace advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barishkov is not content to let Wallace control the position. Wallace working away. The strikes coming from Wallace are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wallace taking a breather here. Wallace misses with the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Russell Wallace will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kreb Barishkov's cut. That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
The fighters circle, before Wallace throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Barishkov's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Wallace lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Russell Wallace! After winning the bout, Russell Wallace thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
