Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso Goveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riki Bolbauwah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alfonso Goveira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Riki Bolbauwah! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goveira throws the kick towards the body but Bolbauwah avoids it. Bolbauwah looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Goveira fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Goveira gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bolbauwah to score an easy takedown into full guard. Goveira is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Goveira pushes Bolbauwah off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Goveira fails with an attempt to clinch.
Riki Bolbauwah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Goveira moves in looking to clinch but Bolbauwah pushes him off. Goveira goes for a double leg but Bolbauwah avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bolbauwah continues to drive forward. Goveira tries to circle away but Bolbauwah has him pinned against the cage. Goveira has Bolbauwah pressed against the cage, preventing Bolbauwah from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Goveira tries for a takedown but Bolbauwah manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfonso Goveira. That's going to take a lot out of him. A frustrated look appears on Goveira's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goveira is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bolbauwah pulls him back up using the underhooks. Bolbauwah landing knees to the body.
Goveira swings wildly with an uppercut but Bolbauwah uses good head movement to avoid it. Goveira with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bolbauwah tightens his grip and picks Goveira up, before dumping him to the ground. Goveira manages to land in guard. Bolbauwah won't allow Goveira to sweep him here. Goveira pulls Bolbauwah in close to prevent any damage. Goveira looking to control.
Bolbauwah distracts Goveira with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Goveira is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bolbauwah rolls with it to try and escape but Goveira cranks on the arm and Bolbauwah is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Alfonso Goveira! Riki Bolbauwah was interviewed post fight and said 'yah win some, yah lose some'.
