The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kakadu counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Marciano is pressing down on Kakadu's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kakadu wants to control from the top but Marciano keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marciano is on top in guard.

Kakadu tries to roll over but Marciano keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marciano takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Marciano quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Marciano but it's paid off an Kakadu is forced to tap! Nice work by Marciano .
