Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Wimms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Wimms! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wimms swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from King misses. King misses with a takedown attempt and Wimms counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for King! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. A lull in the action here as Wimms stalls from top position. Wimms moves into full mount! King tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wimms controlling the position easily from mount. King tries to lock up and control but Wimms gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wimms controlling from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wimms avoids the attempt from King to control. Wimms controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jim Wimms. King is looking to clinch but Wimms is avoiding it.
King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wimms swivels and escapes. King is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wimms sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bo King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King doesn't manage to clinch there - Wimms circles away.
King throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wimms's head.
It looks like Jim Wimms has been cut. A looping hook to the body misses from Wimms. King does a little dance to reset his feet. King misses with a jab, cross combination.
King tries to clinch up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King fails with the takedown and Wimms counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is looking to escape. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wimms in particular looking to stall. Wimms has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wimms tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wimms on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King wants to try and get back to his feet. King definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wimms content just to control the position here. Wimms's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Jim Wimms has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wimms counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee calls for the fighters to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wimms works his way into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King is in real trouble.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Wimms has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for King! Can he survive? No! He's out! Wimms gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
