Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Verkrachter Jan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Verkrachter Jan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Felipe Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Verkrachter Jan!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cain closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jan quickly recovers to half guard.

Cain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jan is just riding it out for now. Cain eventually gives up the hold.

Cain tries to pass to full mount but Jan defends it.
Jan is trying to get back to full guard.
Jan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cain's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cain's back!
Cain really is a fat lump.

You can see the frustration on Cain's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Cain is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jan gets his way!
Cain might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cain swivels and escapes.

Jan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cain dives on top into guard.

Cain darts in looking for a takedown but Jan gets double underhooks and turns Cain into the cage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Felipe Cain.

Jan wants to finish this one by submission but Cain is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jan.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cain can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Verkrachter Jan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cain changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jan tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

Cain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jan is trying to control Cain's posture but Cain avoids it.
Cain misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Cain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jan, who protects the arm well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cain moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and Cain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jan is looking to break free of the clinch but Cain has double underhooks.

Cain ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cain no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Felipe Cain showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Cain has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
